day 35 - a little late to the partay

I know a bunch of you (maybe all?) already workout in the morning but today was my first. It is awesome! You feel so accomplished and energetic and you're free to do anything you want after work. I'm gonna incorporate morning workouts into my routine, or at least try to.

I had to do yesterday's workout this morning cause after 1,000 jumps I was doubled over in pain last night. This is TMI but ever since the uptick in milk/yogurt consumption my system has been letting me know how much it does not enjoy dairy products. I know I'm LI but sheesh!! I alternated between being curled up in fetal position and spending long sessions studying my bathroom walls the rest of the night.

  1. Morning workouts are the best. If you can get yourself out of bed and get started, you're set for the day. When I don't work out in the morning, I tend to procrastinate like hell, and then wind up kind of rushing to get it done later.

Sorry to hear you had such a rough time with all the dairy! Wonder if there's a good substitute...

  3. If I don't workout in the morning it totally throws my day. Plus, you're right, then you can do whatever you want after work, and you don't have to choose social stuff OR working out (you will have to choose an earlier bedtime, but that's not hard when you're tired!).

  4. Hooray for morning workouts! I agree, they totally start the day off right. Although I finally had my first evening workout this week - didn't like having to wait all day to fit it in, but I did like being out on the deck, watching the fireflies while I did my squats and the stars during leg-ups. Bummer about the lactose thang!
